Well the proposal was a total surprise. In the back of my mind i was hoping that it would happen soon, but we had not discussed it nor had we looked at rings. He left me no hints that he was even thinking about popping the question. He's sneaky. We had been planning our vacation to Myrtle Beach with Jackson's Dad's side of the family since December and we decided that while we were there we would drive down to my neck of the woods for a day. So on Wednesday, July 6, we left Myrtle Beach and headed down to Brunswick, GA and Jekyll Island. I have made it known that Driftwood Beach on Jekyll Island is my absolute favorite place in the whole world so naturally it was our first stop when we rolled into town. I felt nervous excitement as we got closer because i was hoping he would love it as much as i do. Jackson was acting nervous too and i was sure that i was just rubbing off on him. We stopped and took some pictures then proceeded onto the beach where Jackson dropped to his knee and held up the ring. I'm most certain that he was talking and asking me something, but i didn't hear much over my squeals and laughter and crying. I asked him if he was serious even though i knew he was and after he assured me that he was i said yes. I was in total shock and felt as if i were floating over the sand. I am the happiest woman alive.
